Nandamuri Balakrishna came before the audience with the flick Veera Simha Reddy. The flick got released for Sankranthi on the 12th of this month and the film completed its first week’s run. Though the movie received average ratings, the festive season helped it get superb collections.
Veera Simha Reddy has collected a distributor share of Rs. 65.7 Crores which is the biggest in the career of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Surprisingly, Balayya’s last movie Akhanda which got superb reviews has only collected Rs. 53 Crores. This shows the Sankranthi festive power. The movie has received Rs. 2.5 Crores on its seventh day.
Still, the film needs to collect Rs. 9 Crores to reach breakeven. Theatricals of Veera Simha Reddy are valued at Rs. 75 Crores. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Shruti Haasan is the female lead of the flick.
