After the release of Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Harish Shankar approached Pawan Kalyan and the project between the duo was announced. As Gabbar Singh was a blockbuster, there are many expectations for the project. However, it didn’t go on the floors as planned and it is taking years but Harish is left in waiting mode.
It looks like Harish has moved on to his next project. The latest speculation is that Harish Shankar is now working on a remake. Suresh Productions has acquired the remake of Maanadu which is directed by Venkat Prabhu and has Simbhu in the lead role. It has got rave reviews.
It was speculated that Naga Chaitanya will play the lead role in the remake but the actor clarified he will not. Either Ravi Teja or Siddhu Jonnalagadda might feature in the remake. The lead star is not confirmed yet but the remake works are surely on.
