Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha shared the screenspace for the romantic entertainer titled Kushi. Shiva Nirwana who is known for these kinds of genre movies has directed this movie as well. Kushi is getting released on September 1st and here are the pre-release business details of the project.
Kushi is carrying decent buzz and the pre-release business was done accordingly. The worldwide rights of the film were valued at Rs. 53 Crores. This is the second highest for VD. Advance bookings of the movie are likely to get started from today. As per the buzz, the opening is likely to be good.
In Nizam, the business was done for Rs. 13.6 Crores while the Ceeded area crosses Rs. 6 Crores which was done on an NRA basis. The whole of AP and Telangana was done for around Rs. 40 Crores. Including the prints and publicity costs, Kushi needs to collect at least Rs. 54 Crores to be considered a super hit.
