Andhra Pradesh government has given permission to hike the ticket rates for the Sankranthi biggies. Of late, the AP govt has been adamant about the high ticket prices and released a G.O. to put a cap on the high ticket prices. This has affected many movies last year. A few Tollywood bigwigs met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan and requested to hike the ticket prices and finally, CM obliged for special films and releases.
Now, the Sankranthi season is coming and the excitement of biggies is getting ready. Watching movies for the Sankranthi festival is a favorite thing for the Telugu people and for this Sankranthi we can witness the biggies clash of Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy.
As per the latest update, Andhra Pradesh has given permission to hike the ticket prices of Rs 45+ GST for both Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya.
The other releases will have to go through standard ticket pricing.
