Mega Star Chiranjeevi‘s Acharya has been in the making for a long time now. Almost two years before the production began and it hasn’t got completed even till now. Still, there are a few patchwork scenes left to be shot. Acharya was initially scheduled for the February 5th release. With the production and post-production left to be completed, there is no other choice but to postpone the movie.
The rise in the COVID cases again also didn’t help the cause much. April 1st is the new release date for the movie and we all know that the date was blocked by Super Star Mahesh’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Even Mahesh’s film shooting has to be completed. After the Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s last schedule, a huge break came with Mahesh having undergone knee surgery and later few of the members of the team tested COVID positive including Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh, and SS Thaman.
It is evident that Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be postponed for sure.
