He came out to cast his vote in the polling for the single-phase urban local bodies elections. Vijay cast his vote at a polling booth near Neelankarai in Chennai. He has arrived in a red car and was seen in simple attire. He wore a simple brown shirt, jeans, and a mask.
With Vijay coming to the polling booth, a huge crowd gathered there. It caused huge inconvenience to the other voters. Though a huge crowd and media mobbing him, Vijay has folded his hands and apologized for the inconvenience caused by his public appearance.
