The Karnataka government awarded the prestigious Karnataka Ratna Award posthumously to Puneeth Raj Kumar which is the highest civilian honor given by the state government. The event happened on a grand scale for which Super Star Rajinikanth and young tiger NTR attended the event as chief guests.
It is known that NTR has good oratory skills and he surprised everyone with his Kannada speaking skills. Rajinikanth in his speech stated Puneeth as God’s child. His aatma is with us, Rajinikanth said.
He’s the people’s superstar of Karnataka. A great son, a great husband, a great father, a great friend, a dancer, and a singer. And above all these, he was a great human being, said NTR in his speech. Puneeth’s wife Ashwini accepted the honour.
