Lokesh Kanagaraj is now a top director in Kollywood. He has directed only four films until now. He has debuted with the cult film Maanagaram. It was a sensation in Kollywood back then. His second movie Kaithi was a rage. Karthi has played the lead role and he lived in the role Dilli. After the super success of Kaithi, the sequel has been announced. However, Lokesh has got the opportunity to work with Vijay and he made Master, which was a successful venture as well.
Karthi was busy with his commitments as well and Kaithi 2 got pushed back. Recently Lokesh made Vikram with Kamal Haasan. It is a sensation now. Vikram’s ending has got a lead for the Kaithi sequel and the fans are excited about this fact. Lokesh Kanagaraj is planning his own cinematic universe which is a new thing in Indian Cinema.
Lokesh will next work with Vijay and then he will move on to Kaithi 2. Karthi will complete his commitment by then as well. Kaithi 2 will roll on in 2023.
