King Khan Shahrukh Khan is back in style. It’s been only 8 months since SRK scored a record-smashing hit with Pathaan and now he is rewriting the records with his latest movie Jawan. The film which was released yesterday created new records at the box office. Jawan collected a huge Rs. 70 Crores (Nett) on the first day and Rs. 120 Crores (Gross). Trade analysts have posted the numbers on social media.
It has been reported that almost 26 lakh tickets were sold on the first day nationwide. This has been the highest for Bollywood and SRK breaking his own records in the same year is a special feat for sure. SRK is also the only hero to score two Rs. 100 Crore grosser in the same year.
SRK’s Pathaan collected Rs. 57 Crores Nett on the first day and now Jawan collecting Rs. 70 Crores Nett is a special thing. SRK has expressed his happiness over the film collecting big.
