Shahrukh Khan‘s latest movie Pathaan had a sensational opening all over the world. The movie has brought back the glory of Bollywood. Despite releasing on a Non-Holiday, Pathaan has crossed all the opening day collections and emerged as the highest-collected Bollywood movie on Day 1. The film collected Rs. 55 Crores Nett on Day 1 in India which translates to nearly Rs. 70 Crores gross.
Taking the overall collections into consideration, Pathaan has crossed Rs. 100 Crores gross on day one. With this feat, it became the fifth Indian movie to touch Rs. 100 Crores opening on Day 1 after Baahubali 2, Saaho, RRR, and KGF 2. Pathaan is now the only Bollywood film on the list.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is a spy thriller. Salman Khan’s cameo toward the end excited movie lovers. Deepika Padukone is the heroine of the project.
