Akshay Kumar is facing a tough time at the box office. His recent films failed to live up to the expectations. They all are flops. His latest movie Ram Setu hasn’t helped his cause yet. This movie was released today and received negative reviews. Popular Bollywood reviewer Taran Adarsh termed it mediocre. Many reviewers stated that the premise is interesting and the scope to explore is brilliant but scratchy writing messes it up.
“Interesting premise, stunning visuals, decent first half, wonderful performances [#AkshayKumar, #SatyaDev]… But the second hour falls flat… Subject had tremendous potential, but the writing is a mess,” tweeted Taran Adarsh.
Telugu actor Satya Dev played a key role in the movie and it is his Bollywood debut. But that doesn’t help his career though despite decent performance. Jacqueline Fernandez was seen in the female lead role.
