Prabhas‘ mythological-based entertainer Adi Purush has sealed its new release date. The movie has been postponed once again. The movie’s shooting has been completed but the post-production works have caused the delay. It was supposed to be hit in the month of August 2022 but it has been pushed back to 2023.
On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the makers have announced the new release date. Adi Purush will be now hitting the screens on 12th January 2023 as a Sankranthi special. The film is directed by Om Raut and the majority of the shooting is picturized using green mat technology.
Prabhas plays the role of Raghav, while Kriti Sanon will be seen as Janaki. Saif Ali Khan plays the main antagonist role Lankesh. It is based on Ramayana, set up 7,000 years ago. Adi Purush is being produced by T-series. It is picturized in Telugu and Hindi languages and will be released in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam as well.
