RRR has opened to earth-shattering openings on the first day of its release. The good run continued for the first weekend and surprisingly the film has performed on a decent note on the weekdays as well. At the end of the first week, RRR has collected a share of Rs. 186.30 Cr.
It beat the previous best Baahubali 2 (Rs. 117.50 Cr) by a huge margin. Baahubali 2 lifetime collections in the Telugu States stand at Rs. 199 Cr and RRR will beat that record as well by tomorrow. Overall, the RRR Telugu version collection across the world stands at Rs. 260 Cr.
The theatricals for the Telugu version stand at a little above Rs. 300 Cr mark. It will reach the breakeven point by the end of the second weekend. Overall, it’s a glorious run for the movie.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR has Ram Charan and NTR in the roles of Alluri Seetha Rama Raju and Komuram Bheem. MM Keeravani has composed the music.
