India is going well in the Asia Cup 2022 by beating Pakistan and Hong Kong back to back. They are waiting for the winner of Pakistan vs Hong Kong to play its first match in the super fours. Ahead of this clash, India had to face a major blow as star allrounder Ravindra Jadeja is going to miss out on the remainder of the Asia Cup.
BCCI has updated that Ravindra Jadeja suffered a right knee injury. BCCI medical team is supervising his recovery but it is all but confirmed that he will miss out on the Asia Cup. Ravindra Jadeja is one of the key aspects of Team India. He is in superb form. He bowled 15/1 in the match against Hong Kong and also scored a crucial 35 in the match against Pakistan.
Now, BCCI has named Axar Patel as a replacement for him. He is a like-for-like replacement for Ravindra Jadeja has already joined the squad.
