BCCI has announced the Test and T20 squads for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. India will play three T20s and two Tests against Sri Lanka starting from February 24th. Rohit Sharma has been handed the test captaincy as well. It is very well known that Virat Kohli has stepped down as test captain after the South Africa series.
Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been axed from the squad, so is Wriddhiman Saha and Ishant Sharma. The chairman of India’s selection committee, Chetan Sharma has revealed that they have talked to the four of them that they will not be considered for these two tests and will have to play Ranji trophy to see where their game is.
