Ambati Rayudu today has created a bit of confusion. He has taken to social media to announce that the current IPL season will be his last and he won’t be taking part in the cash-rich league further. Ex-team mates, current teammates, and others started to congratulate Rayudu on his beautiful IPL stint. He played for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings for around 13 seasons. He was a part of IPL winning squads as well.

However, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed that Rayudu is definitely not retiring. “He was just not happy with his performances. That’s why he might have tweeted. I spoke to him. Definitely, he’s not retiring,” Viswanathan said.

Rayudu after a couple of hours has deleted his tweet. Ambati Rayudu in total has played 175 games and scored 4,000 runs. In 2022, Chennai Super Kings bought him for Rs. 6.75 Cr.
