The second One Day International between India and West Indies will kickstart tomorrow at the same, colorful Ahmedabad. Team India won the first ODI rather comfortably with a side slightly less than the full-strength. The team missed the services of Shikhar Dhawan, Ruthuraj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, etc., as they are recovering from COVID and KL Rahul for personal reasons. Still, they won the match by 6 wickets.
Coming back to the second ODI, KL Rahul has joined the squad, so is Mayank Agarwal who completed the training. KL Rahul will join the team. However, whom will he replace seem to be interesting. Will Rahul slot in the middle order or opening is to be seen. There seem to be no problems in the bowling department.
Mohammad Sira, Washington Sundar broke the top order while Yuzvendra Chahal took 4 wickets to wrap up WI innings quickly. So there might be no changes in the bowling department. West Indies need to find their rhythm. They have to bat 50 overs, to set up a challenging total. Captain Kieron Pollard has said the same in the post-match conference.
