Director: Vikram K Kumar

Music Director: SS Thaman
Rating: 2/5

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya after back-to-back super hits now released his next movie Thank You. The flick is directed by Vikram K Kumar. Let us check out the review.

Story:
Abhiram (Naga Chaitanya) is a self-centered, egoistic nature person. He develops an app that takes him to the epitome of success. Priya (Raashi Khanna) who funds him at the beginning is hurt by the change in behavior of Abhiram and leaves him. Abhiram then realizes his mistakes and starts a journey to thank all the persons who are instrumental in making him what he is today.

The rest of the story is all about Abhiram’s thank you journey.

Performances:
Naga Chaitanya has performed well in this character which has many layers. He is too good as a self-centered, egoistic man and also equally good as an innocent teenager. He played different emotions with ease.

Raashi Khanna is decent in her role. However, at a point, the preaching irritates us. Nevertheless, Raashi Khanna’s attempt should be commended. Malavika Nair is good in a crucial role. Avika Gor is okay in an extended cameo.

Sai Sushanth Reddy impresses us. Prakash Raj and Eeshwari Rao are cool.

Technicalities:
Surprisingly, SS Thaman who is in top form has given a mediocre product. His songs have nothing special to talk about. Even his BGM work is average. PC Sreeram by his standards has done a decent job. The writing is too routine. The story by BVS Ravi has nothing special in it.

Vikram K Kumar is known for his screenplay magic but shockingly for Thank You, he has taken a routine path that is quite boring. The narration is flat. The editing is fine as the runtime is crisp. The production values are neat.

Analysis:
Thank You is a routine journey with flat narration. It doesn’t give you any high. The climax looks rushed. Thank You is a mix of many films like Premam, Majili, etc., There are some moments which are good to watch but overall, Thank You gives an unsatisfied feel.
