If the expectations have some limit, RRR is one film that crosses its boundaries of it. The film which all started with a single tweet of Rajamouli in November 2017 is finally in the theaters. Ram Charan and NTR worked together for the first time. Let us see how the movie is.

Story:
The story is set up in the 1920s when our freedom fighters Alluri Seetha Rama Raju and Komuram Bheem started on their journeys to the north for various reasons. The rest of RRR is about the fictional take on both these unsung heroes. What transpired them to have a higher purpose in life and wage a war against the British?

Performances:
SS Rajamouli unintentionally has given equal importance to both the characters. It is amazing to see how he balanced both of them and satisfied both their fans to the fullest. Both these characters carried the film on their shoulders. RRR is all about Ram Charan and NTR. Both of them have delivered their career-best performances. Both of them will give goosebumps in their emotional, action sequences. NTR’s character is rustic, while Charan’s is ruthless. Charan’s transformation in the film is epic. NTR as usual has stolen the show whenever there is scope.

Alia Bhatt made an impactful performance in her brief stint. Olivia Morris is beautiful. Her role is okay. Ajay Devgn shows what class is. In the short period he appears on the screen, he has showcased what an actor he is. Shriya Saran is good. Samuthirakani has been decent as well. Others are fine.

Technicalities:
SS Rajamouli’s technical team has been tremendous. The cinematography is otherworldly. Senthil Kumar has delivered his best output. Throughout the movie, the consistency shown by him is phenomenal. The artwork, VFX, and CGI departments should get a special mention. Their hard work is evident onscreen. There are a lot of action sequences. Solomon and others did a fantastic job.

MM Keeravani’s work is elevated with the visual output. His songs are fine but his BGM is praiseworthy. What can we say about the production values? They are the best we have seen till now. There is grandeur everywhere we see onscreen.

SS Rajamouli has become a master craftsman in handling such larger-than-life stories. RRR mightn’t be his best work but he managed to come out with flying colors yet again. His dedication and hard work transformed onto the screen quite beautifully. He is the no 1 director in Indian Cinema undoubtedly. The way he handled the two powerhouses of Telugu Cinema is enough to showcase the caliber of Jakkanna.

Analysis:
RRR starts at a slow pace. It takes 10-12 minutes to take you to the world of RRR and from then on, it is Ram Charan and NTR all the way. The introduction sequences of both the stars are amazing with NTRs scoring some extra points. The first half goes well with the flow. Naatu Naatu song is out of the world. It will satisfy both the star’s fans to the fullest. The pre-interval and interval sequences will show SS Rajamouli’s mark.

The second half again has some ups and downs. Again Rajamouli has made sure the film didn’t go out of the way. The pre-climax and climax sequences will again elevate the movie to another level. Needless to say, the film ends by giving audiences the required high.
