The second installment in the HIT franchise HIT 2 got released today. Adivi Sesh has played the lead role of KD investigative officer in Homicide Intervention Team. Let us see what challenges he has faced in this flick.

Story:

Krishna Das KD (Adivi Sesh) is a super confident investigation officer. He is challenged by a serial killer who assembles the different body parts of several girls into one. Krishna Das’s confidence is hit hard by this anonymous serial killer and he is keen to find him at any cost.

Does he succeed in that? Who is that anonymous killer anyway?

Performances:

Adivi Sesh is in his elements of an investigative officer. He has done a neat job. Adivi Sesh and thrillers go hand in hand. He proves it once again. He looks perfectly apt as the super-confident officer. Meenakshi Choudhary is decent in her limits. There is nothing much for her to offer and yet she is okay.

Rao Ramesh, Komalee Prasad, Posani Krishna Murali, and Tanikella Bharani will be seen in typical supporting roles. The others are fine in their characters.

Technicalities:

Dr. Sailesh Kolanu has designed the second installment of HIT in a packed way. The screenplay is tight. However, one can feel that he could have narrated the film in a more gripping way. He has done an okay job.

John Stewart Eduri’s BGM is adequate for a thriller. It creates the right mood. The editing is neat and crisp. The cinematography is cool. The right mood for the thriller is set by the cinematographer. Production values are okay.

Analysis:

HIT The Second Case might appeal to thriller genre lovers. The movie offers some interesting moments and a few boring parts as well. The climax could have ended well. However, the ending part which leads to the third case gets raises curiosity.

Overall, HIT 2 is an interesting thriller that will definitely be liked by thriller genre lovers and for others, it is an okay watch.
