Siddhu Jonnalagadda is a talented actor and he has pinned all his hopes on DJ Tillu an out-and-out urban comedy entertainer. The film got released today. The film has entertained everyone with the promos. let us see how the movie is.

Story:
DJ Tillu (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) is from a lower middle-class family and he has higher ambitions in his life. He is a small-time DJ who does DJ for local functions. He meets Radhika (Neha Shetty) in a pub and it changes his life forever.

Tillu gets involved in a murder mystery and he has to face certain obstacles. What will DJ TIllu do now and how Radhika gets involved in this whole scenario forms the crux of the story.

Performances:
Siddhu Jonnalagadda has carried the whole film on his shoulder. He is the core of DJ Tillu. Be it his body language, Telangana dialect, comedy timing, Siddhu has aced it all. He is too good as DJ Tillu. Neha Shetty has got a meaty role. She is decent in her role.

Prince Cecil’s role is good as well. Brahmaji is hilarious as a circle inspector. Narra Srinu, Fish Venkat have got decent roles and they are OK with comedy roles. The rest have done their jobs pretty well.

Technicalities:
Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vimal Krishna have jointly written the story of DJ Tillu. Vimal Krishna is good in the screenplay and direction departments as well. His crime comedy setup with urban youth is etched well. It is refreshing. Sri Charan’s music and SS Thaman’s background music are decent. The film has a crisp run time and it helped this movie which has nothing to offer in the second half.

Analysis:
DJ Tillu has a promising first half. It is breezy from the word go. Vimal Krishna has made this film into an engaging crime comedy-drama. However, the story has nothing new to offer. It has no strong conflict point. If there is an engaging point then DJ Tillu could have been on another level. The movie’s second half falls flat and it bogs down the feeling of the audience.

Nevertheless, DJ Tillu is a decent outcome with the advantages of Siddhu’s comedy timing, crisp runtime, and youth-oriented entertainer.
