The master filmmaker James Cameron is coming before the audiences with the movie Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel to Avatar which is coming after a long gap of 13 years. Avatar 2 got released today. Let us check out the review.

Story:

Avatar 2 starts where the first part ends. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) forms a family and he has four kids now with Neytiri. Pandora has compromised once again as the sky people return. The villain from the previous part appears again in a new form. Sully’s family has no option but to flee to the Metkayina clan’s homeland.

How will Jake Sully and his native protect Pandora from the sky people forms the rest of the story?

Performances:

Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are nothing but fantastic in their respective lead roles. They performed the emotions to perfection. There is a lot of emotional depth involved in these characters.

Stephen Lang returns as the villain in a new avatar and he is as cruel as ever. However, his character should have more depth. Kate Winslet will be seen as a tribal leader in Avatar 2. She does well.

Technicalities:

Technically, Avatar 2 is brilliant. It is beyond the reach of the other films in terms of technicalities. It is a visual feast, to say the least. From cinematography to visual effects, the film excelled in all departments. The background music stands out. The emotions are beautifully conveyed. Editing could have been better. More than 3 hours of runtime, though how beautiful the movie is, will be tiresome.

James Cameron nicely takes up the sequel and does so well. His vision is something every filmmaker should envy of. He sets up nicely for the next Avatar installments as well.

Analysis:

Avatar: The Way of Water is a visual experience. It should be watched in theaters that have better sound and visual quality. The 3D experience is so good. Those who liked Avatar will be in love with the second installment. Don’t miss it.
