It is well known that Dr. Narreddy Sunitha Reddy filed a petition in the Supreme Court opposing the anticipatory bail issued by Telangana High Court to YS Avinash Reddy in connection to her father, former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy. Supreme Court today heard the petition but didn’t pass any verdict on it. Instead, Supreme Court issued notice to YS Avinash Reddy seeking his reply to the petition and posted the case for the next hearing which will be on July 3rd.
Sunitha Reddy opposed the anticipatory bail alleging that Avinash Reddy is not cooperating with the CBI in the investigation of the case. She has also alleged that Avinash Reddy is threatening the witnesses in the case and prayed for the cancellation of the bail.
The CBI which is investigating the case added Avinash Reddy as A8 in the conspiracy and alleged him of conspiring with the killers. CBI alleged that along with his father Bhaskar Reddy, Avinash Reddy had spent time with one of the killers Sunil Yadav on the night of the murder.
