Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan, and Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandrababu Naidu would be leaving for New Delhi on Saturday. This is probably the first time that the arch-rivals will be in New Delhi. This is also CBN’s first visit to the capital city after losing the elections in 2019.
However, there are slim chances that YS Jagan and CBN will face off in New Delhi. Chandrababu Naidu will be attending the meeting of the national committee on Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav to be held at Rashtrapathi Bhavan Cultural Centre. This meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the other hand, YS Jagan will fly to New Delhi on Saturday morning. It will be a two-day trip. He might meet Narendra Modi on Saturday. YS Jagan will also attend the Niti Aayog meeting that is scheduled for August 7th.
