Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been one of the most prominent and visionary leaders the Telugu States have ever seen. Born on 20th April 1950 in Naravaripalle, (then Madras), Andhra Pradesh. While pursuing his master’s, CBN started his persuasion in political activities as a Students’ Union Leader at Sri Venkateswara University. In the year 1975, he joined Indian Youth Congress. At the age of 28, Nara Chandrababu Naidu was the state’s youngest assembly member and minister.
After 1983, Chandrababu Naidu joined his Father-in-Law NTR’s political party Telugu Desam. Again in 1989, and 1994 elections, Chandrababu Naidu won from the Kuppam constituency. He became Finance and Revenue Minister during NTR’s rule. On 1st September 1995, NCBN became the Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh for the first time.
In the 1999 elections, Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP swept the seats and came into power. CBN is instrumental in making Hyderabad the hub for the software industry. He started the Hitec City and coined Cyberabad. His vision 2020, was a role model back then. Some of the best programs under his governance are Dial your Chief Minister, Rythu Bazaar, E-governance, Janmabhoomi program, etc.,
