The YSRCP-led Andhra Pradesh government is all set for the re-organization of districts. Andhra Pradesh government has decided to launch the new districts on April 2nd on the occasion of Telugu new year, Ugadi. So, the notification is expected only on April 1st.

Based on the feedback from the public, the realignment of a few mandals and revenue divisions has taken place. Chief Minister YS Jagan held several meetings regarding the same and asked the planning officials to take the public demands into consideration.

Planning secretary, GSRKR Vijay Kumar, has said that the blueprint for issuing the final notification is almost ready. Chief Minister has asked them to take into consideration all the genuine and reasonable demands from the public. One district collector, Joint Collector, Superintendent of Police (SP), or City police commissioner would be posted after the reorganization.
