Aam Aadmi Party’s second-in-command Manish Sisodia, who was the deputy Chief Minister has submitted his resignation. In the resignation letter, Manish Sisodia stated that he wishes to stay away till the charges are proven false. In the three-page resignation letter, Manish Sisodia said that these allegations are nothing more than a conspiracy of cowards and weak people. He wrote that “their target is not me, but Arvind Kejriwal.”
In the letter, Manish said that no one can corrupt him. “No one can force me to be corrupt… India’s freedom fighters are my source of strength, fight for truth will give us political strength… the blessings of lakhs of Delhi government school children, their parents, and teachers are with me,” he wrote in the letter.
Manish Sisodia’s resignation came less than 48 hours after his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection with the alleged Delhi Liquor Scam.
