Telangana elections are gearing up to happen very soon with the election notification likely to come up in October. Today Election Commission of India has appointed GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar as the Additional Chief Electoral Officer and IAS Officer Sarfaraz Ahmad as the joint Chief Electoral Officer.

All the parties in Telangana are making their plans to attract voters for the upcoming elections. Keeping this aside, a lot has already been talked about in the contesting constituency of Minister KT Rama Rao. It is known that KTR contests from the Siricilla constituency but this time it is said that KTR might contest from Khairtabad to bridge the gap between anti-incumbency votes.

It is being speculated that BJP has a firm grip over the constituency and to beat that, KTR might be in the ring this time. However, KTR answered those speculations and said that he is going to contest from Siricilla like always. “I have a special love towards my constituency. Of all the constituencies Siricilla stands special. For the first time I won with 171 votes majority but now the majority has increased to 90K,” KTR said.
