The Telugu Desam Party office in Gannavaram has been attacked by some miscreants. The furniture in the office has been destroyed and a car was set on fire. The attackers were identified as the followers of local MLA Vallbhaneni Vamsi.
It is known that Vamsi criticized Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh a few days back regarding his padayatra Yuva Galam. Telugu Desam Party supporters returned back the words to Vamsi and this caused a huge uproar. Vamsi’s followers have taken this condition to their advantage and attacked the TDP office.
Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu reacted sharply to the attack. He demanded action should be taken against the attackers. He criticized that YS Jagan will certainly fall for his barbarous acts and questioned Police morale in this regard. He questioned whether the Police department got completely merged into YSRCP.
