The Andhra Pradesh High Court has posted the liquor scam case in which Chandrababu Naidu was one of the accused to November 27th, Monday. The case has been heard by the court for the past three days.

Nagamuthu and Dammalapati Srinivas made the arguments to the court on behalf of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. They said that the decisions made in this liquor case were made by the state cabinet.

The advocates told the court that the then excise commissioner had sent a proposal to the state government to cancel the privilege fee. The state cabinet accepted the proposal and the then-revenue special chief secretary also signed the papers. With this, they said to the court that the withdrawal of the privilege fee was not the decision of Chandrababu but the state cabinet.

To counter that, Advocate General S Sriram told the court that Naidu had instructed the officials to place a proposal withdrawing the privilege fee.
