Former US President Donald Trump said that if he wins the next Presidential elections in 2024, he will take the relationship with India to the next level. Donald Trump spoke on the occasion while participating in a Diwali dinner organized by the Republican Hindu Wing (RHS) with 200 Indian Americans at his resort in Florida. He said that he has good relations with Hindus, India, and as well as Narendra Modi.
He said that if he wins the 2024 elections, he will nominate RHS founder Shalabh Kumar as the US ambassador to India. He has also stated that he hasn’t officially declared whether he contests the upcoming elections or not. Trump said that he has plans ready for the upliftment of the Indian-American community.
Donald Trump expressed that he wouldn’t have won without the support of Hindus in many states in the 2016 elections.
