Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized Bathukamma Sambaralu in association with People Media Factory. The event happened at the famous New York Times Square at Duffy Square between 45th and 47th street.
Popular anchor and actor Anasuya participated in the event as a guest along with singer Mangli and Mimicry artist Ramesh. Those who decorated the best Bathukamma were awarded Pattu Sarees.
In the event, Aata Paata and Kolatam, Telangana cultural performances are the main attractions. These festivities were covered live on TV9.
TANA President Lavu Anjaiah Chowdary along with Past President Jay Talluri, Executive Vice President Niranjan Srungavarapu, Foundation Chairman Venkata Ramana Yarlagadda, Chairman (Board of Directors) Dr. Hanumaiah Bandla, and others participated in the event.
