Recently, in the presence of Nandamuri’s family members, NTR’s centenary celebrations were held in a grand style in Melbourne. On this occasion, in the presence of state parliament representatives and dignitaries, they paid tribute to NTR at the Victoria Parliament in Melbourne. In regard to it, Victorian Premier (Chief Minister) Daniel Andrews praised the greatness of NTR. In a letter, he spoke highly of the uniqueness and achievements of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

“On the occasion of the Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) centenary celebrations, my best wishes to Victorians of Indian heritage – especially the many Telugu speakers who call our state their home. NTR’s impact on Indian history is significant and his dedication to the preservation of Telugu culture, traditions, and language is commendable. He broke new ground in politics as well as cinema. His love for the Telugu people is quite significant. As we reflect on NTR’s life and many achievements, we thank the Indian community of Victoria for all you do to make our state a stronger, fairer, and better place.”
