It’s the 8th Jana Sena formation day. On March 14th, 2014, Power Star Pawan Kalyan has started Jana Sena and entered into direct politics in style. Janasainiks are making unprecedented arrangements for a massive public meeting near Mangalagiri. Everyone is eager to see what Pawan Kalyan is going to say in his speech on this special occasion.
On the other hand, Jana Sena formation day celebrations have happened in a grand style in the US. Many NRIs have participated in these celebrations and celebrated formation day.
Though Jana Sena was formed in 2014, the party didn’t contest in the assembly elections then. It extended its support to BJP and TDP. Pawan Kalyan was instrumental in bringing TDP into power. However, in the 2019 elections, Jana Sena cut their ties off with TDP and contested without any support.
Pawan Kalyan though contested from 2 constituencies, didn’t manage to win even in one constitution. Pawan Kalyan, however, hasn’t backed off. He has taken the 2024 elections as the target and is striving hard in strengthening the party from grass root levels.
