A video of a girl being beaten up badly by some of the men with sticks and hands has currently turned viral. American journalist and war correspondent Bilal Abdul Kareem tweeted the viral video. Also, Pakistani-Canadian journalist Tarek Fatah shared the video stating, “Indians bringing shame to their country and civilization.”
The video has turned viral with more than 1.2 million watching it. The video was originally shared by a Congress leader. It was accused that the Hindutva extremists thrashed the Dalit girl present in the video.
However, there is no caste angle to it. As per the official sources, those who beat up the girl are her relatives. They beat her up for talking to her maternal uncle on the phone. This was an old video and a journalist confirmed that the all accused are already arrested. It was found that the video was from 2021.
