The winner of the Christmas clash is here. Dunki and Salaar have fought it out at the box office. While Dunki was released on December 21st, Salaar made its way a day later. The first-day collections of Dunki without any competition tell who is going to be the winner of this epic clash.
Surprisingly, Dunki failed to set the cash registers ringing on the first day. Being a class film might be one of the reasons for it. Dunki has only collected Rs. 38 Crores+ gross on the first day in India. Considering worldwide numbers it should be around Rs. 58 Crores+ which is surprisingly low for a SRK starter.
Dunki even failed to touch the Adipurush day one numbers which was considered disastrous right from its trailer release. Adipurush collected Rs. 130 Crores+ gross on day one. Now with Salaar, Prabhas is going to set up Rs. 150 Crores+ day one opening which is going to be the highest this year.
