Google as a part of its cost reduction has given pink slips to almost 400 employees in the Indian workforce. As per the update, Google employees who lost their jobs have received an email overnight. Employees who have lost their jobs are sharing their sorry stories on their respective LinkedIn profiles.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai took complete responsibility for the position currently the company is in and also extended apologies to the employees for letting them go.
On the other hand, another techie Twitter has shut down 2 of their 3 offices in India and is currently working in the country with a very limited workforce.
