By now we are aware that Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has been ousted from the top post. Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk took charge of the micro-blogging site and within no time the CEO and three other top executives have been sent out of the office. Along with Parag and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Vijay Gadde, head of legal, policy & Trust at Twitter was also ousted from the post.
This happened as soon as Elon Musk completed the Twitter acquisition by paying out $44 Billion. Parag Agrawal is one of the oldest employees of Twitter. He joined the platform when only Twitter had over 1,000 employees. He became the CEO of the company after co-founder Jack Dorsey resigned.
According to the latest reports, the outgoing CEO is likely to get $42 million as compensation. Legal head Gadde is estimated to get $12.5 million for the same.
