Pawan Kalyan declares two contesting seats of Jana Sena

Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan has today announced the first two assembly seats of the upcoming elections that his party will contest. Pawan Kalyan said the party would contest from the Rajam and Rajanagaram assembly constituencies. He made this announcement on Republic Day and stated that he would announce more seats if TDP did the same.

Pawan Kalyan advised the Telugu Desam Party to refrain from making any statements when the two parties are in the alliance. These two statements are also made because TDP has announced two seats. Pawan Kalyan also found fault with TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh’s comments on announcing Nara Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister candidate from the alliance.

Pawan Kalyan, however, said that he took the statement easily because of the larger interests. “Some sacrifices are to be made when two parties come together. The only motive of the alliance is to bring down YSRCP from power. If YS Jagan is elected one more time, then there will not be any development in the state,” he said.
