On January 12th, today, two films hit the screens for the Telugu people. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram was released today amid huge expectations. The film has taken one of the huge openings. Keeping aside the talk, now that the movie has been released, the concentration turns to who is the streaming partner for this movie.
Netflix has bought the digital rights of Guntur Kaaram for a hefty price. As per the agreement, the film will be available to stream for six weeks after the theatrical release. Along with Guntur Kaaram, HanuMan was released as well. Teja Sajja played the lead role and Prashanth Varma is the director of the movie. HanuMan has gained superb positive word of mouth.
Coming to the OTT partner, Zee5 is the streaming partner and the OTT date will come out in a couple of weeks. On January 13th and January 14th, Saindhav and Naa Saami Ranga will hit the screens for Sankranthi as well.
