It seems like nothing is going right for former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. It is known that he was arrested allegedly for his involvement in the AP Skill Development scam that is worth Rs. 371 Crores. AP CID has taken Mr. Naidu in custody and produced him before ACB court where he was given judicial remand and was kept in a special cell in Rajahmundry Central Prison.

Now, the ACB court in Vijayawada has extended the remand of Mr. Naidu till October 5th. The ACB court judge Himabindhu has spoken with the TDP Chief about the facilities provided to him in the central prison. She spoke with Naidu through video conference after the two-day custody of CID was completed.

Reportedly, the judge requested Mr. Naidu to not consider remand as a punishment as the inquiry is going on at the moment. She later informed Chandrababu Naidu that the remand would be extended till October 5th as multiple cases were filed against him and the court will take its due course of time to hear the arguments.
