Indian Cricketer Mayank Agarwal survived a major health scare after he drank a bit of a liquid from the pouch that was put before his seat which he thought was water. After drinking a bit of it, Mayank Agarwal had irritation in his throat and swelling of his lips. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Agartala after Mayank complained of uneasiness. He was traveling with the Karnataka Ranji Trophy team after winning the match against Tripura for Karnataka.
While Mayank was rushed to the hospital, the rest of the Karnataka players continued their journey. The ILS Hospitals where Mayank is being treated has issued an official statement regarding the health update. “For now, he’s clinically stable and is being constantly clinically monitored,” said the hospital.
An official complaint has been registered with the Police on this. As per the official update, Mayank Agarwal will fly back to Bengaluru and consult local doctors on further treatment.
