Electric Car manufacturing company General Motors based in the US has taken a key decision. The company had made it clear that it will not promote the brand on the micro-blogging platform Twitter. Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter is the main reason behind it.

General Motors stated that as its rival party Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk is the new head of Twitter they have decided to stop promoting on Twitter. However, it has also been clarified that a key decision might be taken in the future regarding this witnessing the behavioral pattern of Twitter. “It can’t be decided now,” said the company. They made it clear that they will be interacting with their customers and their followers on Twitter though.

Another popular car brand Ford is also venturing into the electric car space and they have decided on the same lines not to promote their brand on Twitter. We have to wait and see how things pan out with Elon Musk in the ace position.
