The ambiguity around Balineni Srinivas Reddy was cleared now. The YSRCP leader has retained the Ongole assembly seat. Earlier, it was a two-way coin between Ongole and Giddalur. Balineni tried to meet YS Jagan but hasn’t got any appointment. So he returned back to Hyderabad. Yesterday evening, he got a call from the Tadepalli camp office to meet YS Jagan.
Balineni Srinivas Reddy was offered either Ongole or Giddalur assembly seat. Giddalur was never an option for Balineni but the leader tried to bring in Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy’s name infront of YS Jagan. However, the YSRCP chief is in no mood to entertan Magunta who is looking to defect to Telugu Desam Party.
Sources say that YS Jagan communicated the same to Balineni Srinivas Reddy. The leader was asked to contest again from the Ongole Assembly Seat. In place of Magunta, either businessman Satyanarayana Reddy or Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy might get the chance.
