All the sitting MLAs who are not getting tickets for the upcoming general elections are showing their dissent. While many of them are quitting the party, a few of them are still playing the waiting game. Now, Rayadurgam MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy has announced that he is leaving the party.

He sent the resignation letter to the party office today after meeting Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy at the Tadepalli Camp Office. YS Jagan indicated that the sitting MLA will not be getting the ticket this time due to various reasons and this left Kapu Ramachandra Reddy in shock.

Ramachandra Reddy said that the party had betrayed him though he stayed loyal to the party. He further said that he will be contesting the next elections as an Independent from the Kalyanadurgam assembly constituency while his wife will contest from the Rayadurgam assembly constituency.

It is said that there are at least half a dozen MLAs who are dissatisfied with the decision of the party’s high command.
