Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has promised his fans that he might return for the next season if his body permits. Now, Dhoni is already stepping in that direction. As per the latest update, Dhoni has consulted a specialist for his knee and might undergo surgery if needed. The same knee has troubled him throughout the season which, however, hasn’t shown any impact on his wicket-keeping skills.
CSK has confirmed that MS Dhoni went to meet Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in Mumbai. Dr. Pardiwala is a specialist in sports orthopedics and he is the one who is treating Indian Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant who is on his road to recovery after a drastic accident.
CSK team’s physician Dr. Madhu Thottappil has accompanied Dhoni with the consultations. MS Dhoni led the team to the fifth IPL title and at the match presentations, he said that he might come back for the love of fans.
