In an unexpected development, Mumbai Indians franchise has officially declared that Rohit Sharma will be stepping down as a captain. Hardik Pandya who was recently traded from Gujarat Titans will be handed over the captaincy. Rohit Sharma is one of the successful captains in the Indian Premier League.
