The Andhra Pradesh Congress has gained some buzz after making YS Sharmila the President of the state party wing. YS Sharmila has been breathing fire on the ruling party and is not even ignoring the opposition party.
Sharmila has announced that the AP Congress will be holding a huge meeting in Tirupathi on March 1st and the main agenda of its meeting is the Special Category Status. She said that a declaration will be made in this meeting. If voted to power, SCS will be the main priority for Congress, she said.
YS Sharmila targeted YSR Congress and YS Jagan by going back on the SCS word. When in opposition, YS Jagan uttered tall words on the special status and he even demanded resignation of MPs. “When in power, why didn’t the 31 YCP MPs resigned which would make the centre move toward the Special Status,” she asked.
YS Sharmila has also criticized TDP and BJP by taking back their words on Special Category Status.
