It is very well known that Adivi Sesh’s next film Major is in the making. The movie is scheduled for release on February 11th. But the official announcement now is that it has been postponed. This is expected news. The current situation in the country is not favorable for a theatrical release.
The official statement from the team reads, “Given the current situation and restrictions in various parts of the country, the release of Major stands postponed. Major is a film made for India and we will release it only when the situation improves across the country. Till then, please take care of yourselves and stay safe.”
Sashi Kiran Tikka has directed the movie and revolves around the 26/11 attacks hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Sony Pictures, A+S Movies, GMB Entertainments are jointly producing this project. Saiee Manjrekar has played the female lead in the film.
