King Khan Shahrukh Khan made a strong comeback this year the Pathaan. The film crossed Rs. 1,000 Cr mark which is a huge benchmark for films in Indian Cinema. Only a handful of movies have achieved this feat.
Now, SRK has doubled this up this year. His recent outing Jawan which is directed by Atlee and has Nayanthara as the female lead has now crossed Rs. 1,000 Crores gross. The film’s Hindi version has collected Rs. 550 Crores Nett which is a huge mark. If the south collections and overseas numbers were included as well, then the total collections of gross will cross the Rs. 1,000 Cr mark.
With Jawan achieving the feat, the focus shifts toward the Baahubali 2 mark. Baahubali 2 collected a massive Rs. 1,700 Crore collection in its lifetime. Pathaan managed to come near the mark. Will Jawan be able to do that? Well, only time will tell the answer.
